Objective:
To compare the risk of adverse liver outcomes, major cardiovascular events, and all-cause mortality among people with different levels of liver fibrosis and hepatitis.

    • Individuals with cirrhosis had a significantly higher risk of MACE than those with minimal fibrosis.
  3. All-Cause Mortality:
    • Mortality rose progressively with liver disease severity.
    • Even those with resolved infection (post-SVR or HBV suppression) had higher mortality than uninfected controls.
