HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – “Hawaii’s Kaiser Permanente Viral Hepatitis Clinic has reached a major milestone toward combative Hepatitis outcomes.
On Wednesday the clinic announced it cured its 1,000 patient of Hepatitis C.
Hawaii has one the highest liver cancer rates nationwide, largely due to viral hepatitis.
‘The work these people are doing, they are saving people’s lives and helping so many people and I’m very very grateful to them,” said Kaiser member Paul Lance.'”
